Education MR. MHLL COLEY, employed in the office of Frisco Railroad in Tulsa, has lived in Sapulpa most of his life. He has been on the School Board for four years, and is a member of the First Christian Church. MR. LOUIS V. STUART has been a member of the Board of Education for three years. He is in the retail lumber business and attends the First Presbyterian Church with his wife and four active children. MR. DONALD L. KORN, an active two-year member of the Board, has resided in Sapulpa for the past twelve years and is associated with the crude oil tank coating business. Mr. Korn is also active in the First Presbyterian Church. DR. JOHN J. McCRORY, the newest member of the Board, has always taken an active part in school affairs by following the activities of his three lively children. Dr. McCrory has practiced dentistry during his twelve years' residence in Sapulpa. 13

MR. HOWARD GILLIAM, JR., is the treasurer of the Board of Education. In this capacity he has served six years. Mr. Gilliam is married and has two children. He is associated with his father in the furniture business. MRS. HELEN MILLER has resided in Sapulpa most of her life. She is married and has two sons. As clerk of the Board of Education, she will continue, as she has for the past ten years, to serve the school and community. MR. SAM T. ALLEN is a prominent lawyer in Sapulpa. With this reputation, he was selected nine years ago to fill the position of attorney for the Board. With his wife and three children, Mr. Allen attends the Methodist Church. of Board MR. CHARLES B. TEEL, with his wife and two children, has resided in Sapulpa for ten years. For seven years he has been on the School Board and he now serves as president. He is employed as a foreman of the D. X. Refinery in Tulsa and is a member of the Christian Church.

Superintendent of Schools Serving his fourth year as the Superintendent of the Sapulpa school system is Mr. Npel Vaughn. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from East Central State College. His Master of Education Degree is from Oklahoma University. Mr. Vaughn belongs to the following organizations: Masonic Lodge, Rotary Club, O. E. A., Oklahoma School Administrators, and National School Administrators. He and his wife, Juanita, with their two daughters, Sandra and Brenda, attend the First Baptist Church. During his leisure time, he enjoys gardening, sports, and fishing. 14
