Tykie Patty took the opening kickoff in his end zone and ran it out to the five yard marker. Ronnie Beaverson and Elmer Warren took turns carrying the pigskin and on the eighth play from scrimmage, Beaverson racked up 6 points for the Chiefs. Bob Starr kicked his first of five extra points. Warren soon banged over another 6-pointer and Starr's second extra point was good. Beaverson made 6 more points on a 59 yard dash late in the second quarter, Starr converted again. Baker, Wynnewood quarterback, was forced to kick and Ronnie Beaverson went 95 yards for another touchdown behind outstanding blocking by the Chieftain forward wall. Wynnewood tried passing awhile but was forced to kick. Patty returned the punt to the 37. Griffin, Warren, and Beaver- son, moved the pigskin to the 9. Beaverson knifed over for the 6 points. Starr missed his only kick at that point. The Sapulpans took over on a recovered fumble. Ed Griffin plowed 40 yards for Sapulpa's fifth touchdown. Starr made the score 35-O with his fourth conversion. Coach Bomgardner cleaned the bench in the fourth quarter and Wynnewood finally scored and converted. ln the last scoring drive Fenska knifed through the line for five. Although john Prince and Elmer Warren picked up a first- and-ten Prince was forced to kick, due to Seminole's defensive play. In the second quarter both teams did more kicking than running with Tykie Patty and Niblick getting off some very nice kicks. Creenclad Chieftains and rain stopped Warren, Beaverson, and Griffin as the half ended. Early in the second half Seminole scored on a pass from Niblick to Presley but the try for point was no good. Sapulpa failed to pick up any ground and Patty kicked 44 yards. On a well executed lateral pass Enos went 49 yards for 6 more Seminole points. Strayham made the final touchdown against a never-say-die team of Sapulpans, The last counter made the score l9-O. The Chieftains' line was hitting hard and Big Ed Griffin was running hard after missing two games with a pulled muscle.
