We had a great swimming team this year. The girls worked hard and spirit was always high. Each swimmer did an outstanding job and at the end of the season we had several girls enter the Central Coast Sectional finals. We're all looking forward to next season with great en- thusiasm. SWIMMING SOCCER Talk about spirit-thc soccer team had it. At Oak Grove we share the field with an archery class. Lost a few there. When we moved to our own campus the fields weren't ready so we practiced at Glider Elementary on a field one half regulation size. Through all the hard- ships we never lost the spirit. BASKETBALL We have had a very trying season. The team members had a great deal of learning growing to do as athletes. The varsity gave their best in competing with the ten veteran teams. The Junior Varsity displayed a tremendous amount of im- provement within one season. However, the best part of the experience was not necessarily on the basketball court. Even though we may have lost the game the returning bus was filled with ST spirit. That was, in itself, a victory in individual and athletic fulfillment. TEXAIS The Tennis Team was enthusiastic and their spirit was high. The team had opportunities to compete against other school and even though they lost a few games, they won a few too. Good luck next year.
