'II uDeath Takes a Holiday at Samohi The Spring Class of '56 was proud to present as its Senior Play Death Takes o Holiday. Written by Al- berto Casella and translated by Walter Ferris, the play is based onthe poetic conception of death suspending all activities for three days and assuming human flesh. Death, as Prince Sirl-ci of Alexandri, visits Duke Lambert and his family, his wife, the Duchess Steph- anie, Corrado, their son, the Baron Cesorea, and his daughter-in-law, Alda. Also staying in the Italian castle are Eric Fenton and his sister, Rhoda. While trying to discover why mortals cling to lite and tear death, Prince Sirki falls in love with the Princess ot San Lucafs daughter, Grazia. The cast also included Duke Lambert's friend, Ma- jor Whitreadp Cora, his maid, and Fedele, the butler.
