Kennedy did more for develop- ing a physically fit nation than any other president. He was young and vigorous, and could see that a nation of our caliber must have equally strong and healthy citizens. Thus was born the Physical Fitness Program in America. Today, all of our schools try to provide active exercise for strengthening their student's bodies as well as academic courses to enrich their minds. At S. C. two years of physical education is advised, un- less ability to participate is limited. Everyone should take advantage of this program-not only for their own benefit, but also for their Country's.
