Our class spon- sors were Miss Nancy Dunlap, Mrs. jean Treadaway, Mr. John McGlynn and Mr. Don Harkey. ' Also as juniors, Mary Colores, Diane Milster and Sandi Wacker were elected Varsity cheerleaders. Shirlene White and Robert Baker were chosen U. of A. Outstanding Junior Girl and Boy. Attending Girls State were Barbara Wright and Shirlene White, while Bill White and Bert Wootan attended Boys State. Lettermen's Sweetheart was Barbara Wrightg F.F.A. Sweetheart was Harriet Thompson. Our junior-Senior Prom was held at St. Helen's Church with the theme as An Evening in Paris. Our class colors are lavender and whiteg our class flower is the lilac. We'll find a way or make it is our class motto. As Freshmen, our class officers were Glen Pearce fPre.videnij, Frank Romero IVire-Presidezztj, Mary Colores fSen'etary-Trearurerj, Harriet Thompson K Girl Reprerentaihfej, and Paul Ray Powell fBoy Reprerent- ativej, and Paul Ray Powell fBoy Reprerefztativej. Mrs. Bill Iselin, Mrs. Martha Maynard, Coach Howard Dean and Mr. Odro Ragsdale were our class sponsors. Sandi Wacker and Arlene Hampton were elected I.V. Cheerleaders. Our class float, Dry 'Em Up won-first place for originality in the Homecoming parade competition. Claire Grieve was one of the majorettes for the Santa Cruz Band. As we entered our Sophomore year, we were led by Glen Pearce as President along with Barbara Wright fVice-P1'e.ride1ztj, Diane Milster ISecretary-Treafzzrerj, Harriet Thompson I Girl Representative 1, and Bill White fBoy Reprerezztativej.
