Some are for girls, some for boys and some for both. There is a place for everyone should he choose to join. Pictured here are the presidents of the twelve groups shown in the next few pages. In the athletic , section of the Tocsin will be found the o ganizations ' ,f to which the girl athletes belong the Girls Block S.C. and the Girls Athletic Association. Also just formed in the lat spring was a folk dancing club. Club meetings are usually held at noon although 3 some take place after school or in the evening at the i honces of members. r , , , gf ln the writeup vi hich accompanies each club pic- , fi , ture are told the activities and accomplishments of 1 r.i. - - each group. They include formal and informal -Ut - initiations, teas luncheons picnics dinners trips and service to the school. Various teachers act as advisers and give of their time to see that things go smoothly. Santa Clara club members have a good time it s true but they also learn how to get along with others and how to be of service to others.
