Gilbert FORUM CLUB ' lt's a small group, but their discussions of anything under the sun are spirited and informative. Monday luncheon meetings proved to be popular. Secretary for the year was Raeann Pinkham and Marie Lima was the treasurer. Miss Ruth Fowler is the advisor. Gonzalez, president. TRI-Y The Tri-Y is a girls' service club, closely connected with the YWCA. This year the activities of the members have included Junior Red Cross work, the sale of programs at games, an inter-club convention at Asilomar, a skating party for the student body, and two picnics. Secretary for the fall term was Dolores Mesa, and Betty Ann Seely took over in the spring. Angie Panelli and Pat Hanaiord, presidents. ORDER OF GREGG ARTISTS The O.G.A. is an exclusive group made up of girls who have a C average in shorthand and have passed their Order of Gregg Artists test given by Gregg and Company. The group gave a luncheon and an initiation for new members and sponsored a dime dance at noon. They have made field trips to State and I-leald's. Dolores Flosie was the secretary. Mrs. lmo Garner is the advisor. Pat Sigala, president. HI-Y They wore dresses this year and ribbons in their hair, but everyone knew that they were being initiated into the Hi-Y. The initiates also had to sing I'm a Moron at the noon dance and shine shoes for the lucky onlookers. Chuck Parle was secretary for the first semester, and George Buehring assumed his duties during the second half of the year. Mr. Howard Gillespie is the advisor. Leroy Pasquinelli and lack Williams, presidents.

GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 8 -Girls oi this troop have kept a book of clippings about the Santa Clara boys in the armed forces. Their social events have included a dance, two initiations, a picnic at Alum Rock, and a trip to San Francisco to see the sights. Miss Ruth Fowler is the advisor. Bernadine Moore took the minutes both semesters. Cora Zambetti and Eldine Enos, presidents. GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 13 I Under the leadership of Miss Margaret Price, this troop has on its calendar a sailing trip on May 18 and a week-end in Yosemite in Iune. They sponsored the highly successful Sadie Hawkins dance. In the fall they spent a great deal of time preparing gifts to send to underprivileged children. Angie Panelli was the year's secretary. Isabel Moyano, president. GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 13. IR. Also under the leadership of Miss Price, Troop 13, Ir. took an active part in the making oi scrapbooks lor the Red Cross. Several parties and a dinner at As You Like It were on their social calendar. Also planned are a sailing trip in Iune and a week-end at Stevens Creek. They also sponsored a skating party at Rollerland. Fall secretary was Nancy Carrnody, and Irma Iohnson took her place in the spring. Ingrid Iohnson and Betty Iean Vierra, presidents. COMMERCIAL CLUB ' The undaunted, unselfish spirit oi the members of the Commercial Club is illustrated every year during the various athletic seasons when they sell refreshments at all the games. The club also arranged the Toy Dance which is held to acquire toys to be distributed to needy children at Christmas time. Social events included a dinner and show and a picnic. Miss Kathleen Dick is the advisor. Secretaries for the year were: Evelyn Moura and Delores Anderson. Camillayglgey and Pat Sigala, presidents.
