You've developed your own bribery system, and you know just what gets them. But when that strategy fails, it's time to turn to your older brother or sister. You'll beg, plead, or cry, what- ever it takes to get a ride to the movies or the mall. But finally your time has come, your 'ibth birthday is here, and Freedom is sitting on your doorstep. Now all you have to do is go get your license! Once you've conquered that driving test, the skys the limit for fun, free- dom, and fancy living. There's a feeling of supremacy when you're out on the road. As you cruise through town with a full tank, dark shades and radio blar- ing, that confident smile shows good times are up ahead. But eventually driving becomes more than pedestrian target practice. The road is dangerous QAfter all, your friends are out there toolj. Protecting that spark- ling new paint job becomes a task in itself. Some people learn the hard way that burnin' rubber and showin' off ultimately takes its toll. The cool shades, the sassy smiles, and the tough paint jobs are all classic details of rookie dri- vers turnin' big league. And no matter what you did or how you did it, it made your sophomore year extremely outrageous. X
