They are faced wiTh lniTiaTion, Through which They become official members of The SanTo Clara communiTy. Sophomores are in a Time of Transi- Tion from a younger Freshman inTo an auThoriTaTive upperclass- man. They are preparing for one of The highlighTs of being a Teenager-learning To drive. Being a Junior means finally achiev- ing Thcn' upperclassman sTaTus. They receive Their rings which sTand as a symbol for Their accomplishmenTs, buT also a remind- er of whaT is yeT To come. Seniors are The highesT of The social classes, They know The ropes , and They are preparing To sTarT a new life ouT of high school.
