They are: Ckneel- ing, Yoshikazu Swanson, John Hernandez, Bob Williams, Greg Berlie, Robert Maxwell, Michael As the spring season arrived at Santa Clara, more athletic organizations are officially active than at any other time. Due to our deadline we are unable to report the results of the work done by these teams, however, the efforts put out thus far by track, baseball, and tennis teams seem to indicate good seasons for all. We hope that the hard work and training put in by our teams pays off to the highest possible degree. Although they lack the popular support given other sports, these teams work as hard and play just as well as those of the year's earlier activities. For this work Santa Clara is grate- ful and so we will say to our teams and coaches, Thank you and good luck. Bruce Lenning is Santa Clara's pole vaulting star. They lead all rallies and games, cheer off busses, paint posters, and yell themselves hoarse. At Santa Clara they are the heart of the part spectators play in the field of sports.
