Carrol O'Sullivan, Principal, presents Bank of America Trophies to Richard Maulhardt for excellence in the fields at science and mathe- matics and to Jeanne Burnham for outstanding work in liberal arts, Santa Clara has an active chapter of the California State Scholar- ship Federation. In an effort to develop in its members a Schol- arship for Service mentality, it has promoted two intellectual proiects-knowledge bowls with- in the school and between schools in the area, and a tutoring service for students who need extra help. Its publicity efforts to keep the Student Body aware of its mem- bership and the members ot the B-Honor Roll Society have done much to make students learning- conscious.
