ophomores Increase Size of Second Semester CSF Devoted to service and recognition of outstanding scholarship, the Cali- fornia Scholarship Federation honors those students who have obtained a min- imum of nine academic and one extra- curricular, or ten academic points for four semesters, one of which may be in the senior year, by making them seal- bearers. With Thom Danenhower as Presi- dent, Vicki Bauemschmidt, as Vice- President, Irene Chennell as Secretary- Treasurer, and Mrs. Nora Wilson as the advisor, members accompanied Ashley Crandell, who was nominated as one of the top scholars in Southern California, to a CSF convention at Cleveland High School in San Fernando Valley. A ,- ., x ,,,. -.. - md . ...V Nlargaret Caldwell Swimming took up most of Mar- garet Caldwell's time at SBHS. She participated in swimteam and syn- chronized swimming. She hopes to become a school teacher and plans to attend either UCSB or San Jose State where she will major in Spanish. During her years at SBHS, Kathy Baughman was active in Pep Club, Social Committee, and was president of Usherettes in her senior year. With plans of entering Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, Kathy wants to be- come a dietitian. Kathy enjoys sew- ing, cooking and collecting stuffed animals. Kathy Baughman Dick Bouslough, a well rounded student, lists his interests as all sports, model building, and mechani- cal drawing. Named Oustanding Sophomore, Dick continued to par- ticipate in many school activities. Dick plans to attend SBCC and Cal Poly to become a computer engineer. 'IF' Dick Bouslough Claiming to lead a very dull life , Steve Casselberry also claims to have been a member of Pep Club, CSF, Senior Class Council, AFS band, pep band, student legislature and Election Committee, of which he was chairman. lntending to enter UCLA, Steve's goal is to become a lawyer. Steve's hobbies include tennis, play- ing the sax and buming to a crisp on the beach.
