Committees Plan School Functions N'-sf .QQUQ 9 R . ww, I I K Tyr Ron' lg Barham Hruinglon. George Ella Ulix. Lori Chamberlin. liclri SOCIAL The diligent efforts of the Social Committee were well appreciated when one attended the ASB-sponsored dances in- cluding the annual Pigskin Prom, Christmas Formal, King of Hearts Dance, and the May Dance. The committee, directed by Vicki Porter, was in charge of dance publicity, decorations, refreshments, and the cloak room. Many long hours were put in by the members of this committee to insure a very mem- orable occasion for everyone present. They also co-ordinated after game dances. SPECIAL ACTIVITIES The Special Activities Committee was organized by the student legislature this year to subsidize ASB funds. With Dana Derick as chairman, the committee sponsored a car wash, a dance, and a candy sale during the summer. During the school year they organized: an interfclass pop bottle drive as well as another car wash and candy sale. With the extra funds raised, SBHS students were allowed lower rates on bus trips to out of town athletic events. Porlrr. rlmirmrm.
