Art Editors Joanne )v1orri$ n Barbara Tucker The Ariel Art Staff, under the capable guidance of Mrs. Nell Fay. has played a large part in making this year's Ariel such a success. Joanne Morrison and Barbara Tucker, the co-editors of the Ariel Art Staff, with their very co-operative and able staff, worked diligently for many weeks in preparing the actual structure of the book. Endless hours were spent in arranging the pages and deciding what type of technique and what manner of illustrations to use. Many illustrations were made ready, and a chosen few were finally selected for publication. This year's highly capable staff should be given much credit for its superb handling of the yearbook. Under the capable editorship of Connie Schulz, the Ariel Literary Staff has worked together to make another top notch Ariel. The staff, consisting of three sophomores, three Juniors, and five Seniors, has toiled since the beginning of school writing assignments and meeting deadlines. With Miss Mildred Watson as advisor, the staff had the job of taking names and information accurately for the senior pictures so that these could be placed under the pictures when the book was printed, this year the running commentary throughout the book was an added task set before this industrious staff. One of the most beneficial of all the many jobs of the Ariel Literary Staff is the job of trying to capture, through the use of words, all the many activities and good times every Saint enjoys during the school year. At the end of the year the members enjoyed the annual Ariel banquet honoring all those who have worked on the yearbook.
