As through high school years we go Our hearts with happiness will ever flow. Many are the problems we have to ponder While down the halls of Sansom we wander. Even though lured by ball games and shows galore, Still we must grasp what Sansom has in store. A million rules the teachers keep repeating, Our poor brains must take such a beating That it seems we are never through With so many things to learn to do. There are many tests we must take For those credits we have to make! Ball games and shows must we resist Because the teachers for a report insist. We are humble freshmen and ideas we must not Or it will be much to our sorrow! All our mental powers must be used, For on those tests honor must not be abused. We long for the years to roll by in haste. To use time in some ways seems such a wasteg We look forward to graduation, But first, we must have an education. borrow
