61:55 Cy The other day I chanced to visit a frlend of mlne, Doc Cureum, who had just perfected a time machlne we talked I began to reminisce about my classmates at Sanders High in 1051 As I thought on about them I be came curious about their whereabouts and activities Being thus curious and always willing to donate my time in the interest of Science I persuaded the good doctor to let me be the first to test h1s machlne I stepped into the Chamber, dials spun, lights flashed, stars exploded and I traveled far into the mysterles of time to the year 1960 Sanders has grown into an irdu triou little village with a fine community recreation hall Spying the local movie theatre I moved over for a look see Bless mv buttons, look who is starring in the show it's Max Ortega, the idol of a million girls my merry way, I note a sign telling of a comlng attrac tion Mary Lou, a lady wrestler 9' Well, her trainlng at Sanders Hi seems to have come in handy' In between bouts she is a part time nurse at the local dispensary and she's very good at both A Dr Jekyll and Hyde personality Tust then, I spied a schoolmate of mlne, Irene Hobbs She had just left her husband at the new mission house and was leading six lovely chlldren yes, they were all hers Inquiring about the Beasley boys I learned that Art is a tough sergeant in the Marines He shunned the Navy because his older brother was in that service and Art didn't think it was big enough for both Frankie was the cop on the corner and as he stood there directing traffic he needed no whlstle as he stlll had a good supply of bird seed left from his days at S H S As he walked acress the street with me I felt very strange and then I reallzed I was going back, back thru time to the present I thanked the doctor for the opportunity to learn the fate and the destinx of the Seniors of '51 and then I went merrily on my way l 0l0 Q ' . mf W! an jdfamenf we, the 1951 Class of Sanders High School, of the County of Apache, the State of Arizona, do hereby make, publish and declare this our last will and testament, hereby revoklng all former wills and bequeaths of what ever nature by us made Item I To Mrs Brown we leave the memory of our most beautiful voices, in hopes that it will serve as an inspiration to her future struggles Item II We give and bequeath the much abused and mis used typewriters to Mr Johnston to care for with all his loving tenderness Item III To Mr Smith we leave and bequeath our Physics books to use in case of flood they are very dry Item IV To Miss Dotson we leave our great patience as she will need it for the oncoming classes Item V We leave Mr Motes our great knowledge of the study of Sociology and History Item VI We leave Mr Johnson wondering where the boys were during shop perlod to use as he sees fit on next year's team Item VIII We leave our calm poise and dignity CVD t the freshman class who is badly in need of it Item IX Individual bequeaths 1 I, Max Ortega, leave my cheerful personality and my way with the girls to my beloved brother, Beau Gilbert in hopes that he will make good use of it 2 I, Arthur Beasley, will my ability to get on the honor roll to Pat Paulsell in hopes that he will use it 3 I, Irene Hobbs, leave my undying devotlon to the girl that needs it most, Frances Parker 4 I, Mary Lou Lynch, bequeath my charm and beauty to my slster, Freda, who is to combine it with her quiet manner 5 I, Frank Beasley, leave nuthin' to nobody cuz I sure ain't got nuthin' In witness thereof, Ie, the Class of 1951, have to this, our last will, set our hands and seal this eight teenth day of May of the year one thousand nine hundred and fifty one THF SEVIOR CLASS OF 1951 L 1:5152 .
