Tom Mute Jeff Lauderdale Vocational Shop Again our school year started off with blue ribbons for the shop- Vincent grimes, Ben Lynch, Sam Barker, Jeff Lauderdale, and Tom Mute 47th Gradeh strutted home from the county fair at St Johns with first prizes The shop enrollment has been heavier than ever this year,there being sixty eight high school and elementary boys and eighteen veterans The vets have done a large volume of outside assignments this year Without this work the program would have been impossible, as our shop is entirely too small We wish to thank the people of the community for their co operation in this outside program The Smith Hughes Act, which helps to make possible the large shop program, provides for a Vocational Advisory Board consistlng of three members selected by the Board of Trustees These members are Mr Bill McDonald, Mr Robert Cassady and Mr Jeff Lauderdale Suggestions as to changes and improvement of the shop program will be welcomed by them Sam Barker BSD Lynch Vincent Grimes
