FALL On Ianuary 26, we elected spring officers. Ioe Serna was chosen as president. As soon as representatives were elected, sophomore council meetings were held. As a means of increasing our treasury, we decided to have cake sales. Plans are being made for a class party as soon as our treasury is large enough. As always, the sophomore class will leave its mark in spring athletics with members participating in baseball, track, and tennis. y Again this semester, many of our classmates have been outstanding in the Scholarship Society and on the honor roll. SPRING The sophomore class started the fall semester with Clyde Bradley as prexy. Under C1yde's able leadership, and the advisorship of Mr. Day, the class was organized and regular meetings held. The plans for the sophomore sponsored talent show were dropped due to con- flicting activities. Shortly before Christmas, a nameless paper was published under the editorship of Shirley Patrick. As the result of a contest it was named Wise Fool which is the literal meaning of Sophomore. The class participated actively in athletics and scholarship, with twenty-one on the football teams andseven on the Varsity or Lightweight basketball teams. Elizabeth Todd, Ramona Vierra, Dallyce Ruhlman, Barbara Ann Simmons, Frosty Wright, lim POY, and Clyde Bradley were in the Scholarship Society.
