.lun Grad The June Graduafes of l958 sighed wifh relief when fhey finally became high and mighfies. If had been a long hard pull all fhe way up fo fhis disfinguished posifion. Looking back fhe Seniors recalled fhe necessary elemenfs for seniorify. Their never fo be forgoffen H-9 Assembly, fheir H-I0 Picnic af Roberf's Area, fheir paperdrives, cake sales, boffle drives, carni- val boofhs and all fhe ofher exfra curricular acfivifies were of greafesf imporfance when if came fo rippening info full fledged Seniors. Wifh fhe classificafion of H-l2, however, came prospecfs 'of even more fun. As Seniors fhey had a dinner, picnic, ball, and graduafion fo prepare for. Those Seniors were quife well pre- pared, foo. Senior acfivifies for fhe June Grads commenced wifh a bang up dinner af fhe Claremonf Hofel in Berkeley. The girls donned chemises and fhe boys furned green. To fhis day if has nof been cleared up if fhey were reacfing fo fhe dresses or fheir cigars. The Senior Ball, Through fhe Looking Glass, was fheir nexf gafhering. The Affer fhe Ball Parfy in fhe Claremonf Hofel's Garden Room was fhe real highlighf of fhe evening. The kids danced unfil 4:00 A. M. fo fhe music of Dick Dildine's Band. During Senior Week fhe kids fook advanfage of fhe superb facilifies 'of Tanberly Lane Counfry Club for fheir Senior Picnic. The Seniors swam, danced, afe, and laughed fhemselves silly. The nexf evening, June I2, was graduafion. The girls donned whife robes and fhe boys, blue. They heard fheir fellow class- ma'I'es speak of fhe pasf and fufure and fhrough song declared No Man ls An lsland. On fhis graduafion nighf many memories were recalled, buf fhe Senior memories were fhe fondesf.
