DEDICA TION
During the closing days of the Spring semester of 1963, the faculty and students
of San juan were immeasurably saddened by the death of our Dean of Boys , Paul
Palazzo.
Mr. Palazzo had been an invaluable member of the faculty since his arrival in
1946, a young teacher recently graduated from the university. Many former
students remember him as a dedicated teacher in his chosen fields of business
education and history. Hundreds more recall his years as a trusted friend in
the counselors' office.
In 1956 he was appointed to the office of Dean of Boys, becoming responsible
for a large share of the discipline and of the academic supervision of the school.
The qualities which Mr. Palazzo brought to these tasks may all be characterized
by the Word ABSOLUTE--absolute devotion to duty, absolute dependability,
absolute integrity.
We of the faculty and students of San juan miss him greatly, and will miss him
long. 7
