DON RYAN DIDI SMITH PAT PARISH MARILYN UYEDA Preslclenl Vice-Presideni Secrelary Treasurer Freshman Class The Freshman Class, traditionally the most active, this year was no exception. Its members contributed several new ideas for ac- tivities which benefited not only the class but worthy charities as well. The Gorgeous Gams Contest, created to select the most ap- pealing pair of male legs on campus, was a complete success. From the contest 35200 was raised, with ssc being given to charity. A city-wide paper drive was also conducted by the members, and a second 350 was donated to charity. The Freshman Class Council planned and sponsored a revolu+ionary mixer.

Continuing an activity they started as Freshmen, the group sold pizza in the outer quad during the month of February. The annual Soph Hop, held in conjunction with nine local colleges and universities, was held this year at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. Jeanne Gibbs, our Soph Doll candidate, was chosen as an attendant to the all- college Doll at this dance. The class council fool: a poll concerning fhe laclr of s+uden+ response during eleciions.
