Student Activities Board The Date Book, in which all on campus organiza- tions must register their activities, is under the safe keeping of the Student Activities Board. This group's primary function is to coordinate all the student ac- tivities on campus. They also give a final OK on the placing of all posters which are displayed on campus. The Board is comprised of representatives from AWS, Panhellenic and the Inter-Fraternity Council. There are also two representatives-at-large from the student body. The chairman of the Board is the ASB vice-president. The contro- versial issue of limiting the football team to 30 awards this year was an active topic of discussion by the Com- mittee. The linal decision was to give the 55 requested awards. Other projects this year were the writing of a constitution and a complete re-organization of policy.

The Associated Women Students have an annual Big-Little Sister Party every fall quarter to welcome these new students. Another annual event is the outstanding Women's Week, with its Hearts' Delight Dance and the reigning jack O' Hearts. AWS also provides Thanksgiving favors for the Veterans' Hospital in Palo Alto and sponsors the sale of Activity Calendars. Spring brings the Recog- nition Banquet and, this year, the Swinging Into Springv songfest which replaces March Melodies. BETTY WISER President
