In spife of fhe limifed sfaff, fur- fher expansions are being affempfed. ARMY AND AIR FORCE ROTC Col. James J. I-lea, Lf. Col. Howard Brown Eighf San Jose sfudenfs were accepfed for appoinfmenf info fhe Regular Army fhis year. These men included l. C. Bland, O. l-lerrgesell, J. L. Richerfs, D. I-I. Miller, W. C. DeLapp, P. A. Murphy, E. J. Davis, and I-I. C. Frame. As an added incenfive fhis year, fiffed dress uniforms will be given each cadef successfully complefing fhe course. Firsf Year Advanced men again enjoyed fhe six weelcs vacafion af Camp Gordon, Georgia. In fhe presenf expansion of fhe Armed Services our own Air Force ROTC has grown considerably during fhe pasf year. Sraff, personnel, sfudenfs and new courses far surpass previous years. New Air Force Blue Uniforms are being worn by Advanced Course sfudenfsp basic sfudenfs will be wearing fhem by nexl' fall. An organizafion for AEROTC men called Arnold Air Sociefy sfarfed fhis year, if fosfers educafion, service and good will among all young men.
