So you bought a LA TORRE after all. I am sure youIll never regret it. I still have my old normal school annual of almost forty years ago. ItIs a little bit of a thing, possibly thirty pages, and a few pale ads. We paid $1 for it, and that almost ruined us, but Pm glad I have mine. In fact, litIs growing in interest. I look so solemn, tall, gangling. And there I stand, year in, year out, hair brushed smooth, three-inch stiE collar, black suit, dignity in every line. a a a a a a I haven,t seen any of my classmates for years, but in those pictures we,re forever young. Behind those blank, set faces are personalities, memories, jolly, care free, happy times. The depression of 93 was on, and that was a depression, but in our simple way we had a grand time. No money, you understand, n'o autos, 110 shows, 110 trips, a few very simple parties, just young people together. There is no better time, and you,ll realize that yourselves forty years from HOW. T.
