Executive Council ot the Boys' Federation with Brother Mat- thew, Moderator The Boys' Federation is organized to promote concerted action and to govern those phases ot activity which are almost entirely in the Boys' department. The Religious dctivities, the Intramural sports, the Trattic Commission, Rally Committee and the Block M Society are the groups which comprise the Federation. Executive meetings are held prior to the Student Body meetings to discuss the problems which are then brought to the attention of the students. The Federation has proven most effective and has been responsible tor a well-organized progrom of Stu- dent activities. THE MARIAN YEAR COMMITTEE The Living Rosary was recited in the Brothers' Chapel. Weekly Recitation ofthe Rosary by the Boys' Student Body. MAHIAN YE H CUM ITTEE ln response to the Holy Fathers' proclamation of the Marian Year, the Boys' Student Body organized a Mar- ian Year Committee for the purpose of special devo- tions to the Holy Mother of God. Weekly recitation of the Rosary, special eiaculations, shrines, and the Living Rosary were all a part of the devotion. As a special Feature the classes held cake sales and made small collections to purchase a statue of the Immaculate Conception which will be erected in honor of the Holy Mother ot God in this Her Marian Year. Congratulations are certainly in order for the wonder- ful support given to this Committee by the entire Stu- dent Body.
