Since that time. seventy-six students haye been members of this group. The orthopedic room consists of both junior and senior high school students. All junior high school students are taught in room l22. but the senior high school students attend regular classes and only the very seriously handicapped students are taught the senior high school subjects in l22. As of this June, twenty-six students will have been graduated from San Jacinto, six of whom were members of the National N-g It's pretty obvious to Mr. Bishop and everyone else that school's out. according to the beaming smile of Shirley Larison. 5 5 ...fl Vfinnie Chappell takes the orders for lunch. and it looks like she will be doing a lot of shopping for Lurline Hall. Nancy Kilpatriwk. Rolf:-rt Wilhite. and Bob Tatum. 30 Honor Society. Mrs. Maynard is the teacher in charge of this group. She is assist- ed by a maid. who is in attendance at all times. An elevator is sit- uated across from 122 to trans- port pupils to the different floors. This program at San Jacinto is the only one of its kind in the entire Houston area. The progress which has been made is a great source of pride to everyone at San Jacinto.
