■H Sobobans Sobobans hold Faculty luncheon Consisting of only senior girls, Sobobans was a service club which allowed girls with a 3.3 grade point average and above to join. Applicants had to have received three recommendations by teachers and filled out an application, which included an essay. Students were picked on how active they were in school and com- munity activities. The sponsor of this exclusive club was Ms. Hagerman. Meetings were held on Tuesdays and members of the club were to wear dresses on that day. Services that Sobobans did were holding a St. Patrick ' s luncheon for the faculty and staff and Christmas caroling at convalescent homes. Treasurer, Lana Tanaka said, We got a lot closer because we were a small group. We also associate out of the club. Sobobans President Cheryl Provence said, Our Sobobans in- duction was the nicest part of our year together. It really helped us learn about each other.
