The San Gorgonio Concert Band has been consistent winners in California Music Festivals, but last year both the Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Concert Band received the highest ratings possible at the District and Regional State Music Festival. This year, because of the high ratings, the Concert Band received an invitation to send a recording to compete with other bands in California for the high honor of being invited to the California Music Educator ' s Association ' s State Convention. San Gorgonio ' s Band again came in first and was invited to perform at the State Convention, April 15, at the Sheraton Hotel in San Francisco. m BAND OFFICERS: L to R: Drum Major David Hidalgo.
