wal, Laskey PAM STURDYVIN, Student Body Vice President, and wimer Sfuden, Body Presidem friend, Bill Kirk, talk with Mrs. Fee, Cabinet Sponsor, about an upcoming club assembly program. Student government follows national org ' ation STUDENT GOVERNMENT at San Fernando is much like our na- tional government. It is composed of three main branches: execu- tive, Iegislative and judicial. The Student Body Cabinet has powers similar to those given the President of the United States and his Cabinet. This executive branch is led by the Student Body President. Cabinet meets daily during sixth period to solve problems of the student body. Similar to Congress is the Board of Representatives and the Ad- visory Board. Headed by the Student Body Vice President, the Board of Representatives, the finance board of our school, consists of representatives from each class. The Advisory Board consists of the president, vice president and secretary of each class. The pur- pose of this board is to build class spirit. The iudicial branch includes the Student Court and Ethics Com- mittees. The boards implement standards of discipline set by Cab- inet. They are assisted in their work by Student Service.
