This year's Cross-Country squad was one of the best to represent Vocational since the beginning of competition in this sport at the school. An unusually large number of boys reported for practice at the call of Coach Olsen, and it was this strength in depth which accounted in large measure for our success. The squad was quickly rounded into shape for the season. The team finished the season with a record of seven victories and six defeats in thirteen meets. Among the schools Vocational encountered this year Qrigpl were Point Loma, Lincoln, Kearny, Vista, San Diego, wwf' j 5, St. Augustine, Grossmont, Escondido, Rancho Del ' f Campo, Helix and Hoover. In the San Diego State College Invitational, we placed third in competition with nine other schools. Against eight teams in the Mt.
