Bl 3 My Final Year Sami Chammas lt was my final high school year and l shall leave without a tear. Late night studying into morning. The never ending lectures that were boring. A dance on a boat, caveman on a Homecoming float. A journalist for the paper, part of the underground caper. Member of the Thespian troupe, donkey basketball shooting hoop. Part of the ski club clang, singing in the Go-Go's band. There is so much more it's impossible to name. I was in the Class of '83, Here's to wealth, success, and fame. - Sami Chammas Senior Poetry An Adolescent lnsurrectionlst's View Matt Evans As I sit here all alone Looking upon the malignant water Should l throw a stone? lt is an often asked rhetorical question ln this inane world there is too much speculation. To what extent do l go? When will l come out of obscurity? - Matt Evans My Friends Mandy Martin The time has come for us to part But I will remember And, from time to time look back, and think of you. And, if we should chance to meet again, will you remember me or l you? I remember, skipping classes, studying my head off, long lunch lines. I remember, laughing with you, but never at you, and smiles smiled in passing. I remember, oh how much I remember. Memories stored forever in my mind.
