Tryouts were the first big happening -it was nervewracking waiting to do my routine in front of the whole school but once I started, it wasn't so bad. Waiting to hear my name called after elections was the worst of all. When our names were called it was so exciting-we all shouted and cried. l really felt like a cheer- leader for the first time at the Blue and White game. We only knew two cheers but we kept repeating them over and over. Summer was constant practice. We practiced at school and at each other's houses, especially Terri's-to drink her mom's lemonade. The first game was UNBELIEVABLY FANTASTIC-we just didn't want to stop leading cheers! Cheerleading is wearing our uniforms on Fridays, getting to really know each other, rallies, games and FUN! Bottoms Up! x u t l .1 1 5 I r
