John Watkins, Chris Creaves, John Wentz, Rux Simkins, and Dave Burton view lastest issue of of Triton. Satisfaction is meeting a deadline. Georgette Shaw, Toni Saccucci, Claudia Slater, Jack Loukides Breaking with tradition this year's Triton was interesting and well organized. Besides reflecting activities of the campus, the Triton turned to controversial subjects and took stands on many important issues. Starting off with the Peace Symbol conflict, the newspaper continued to capture the publics eye with lead stories on the Nu- clear Power Plant, and the ASB Card sale gambit with Laguna High. Illiminating stories with no real interest was a task taken up by Peter Chicas and Peter Limon, Editor and Associate Editor, re- spectivly. I think the paper was a total success, and that we in- formed a few people about what was really happening, stated Peter Chicas. Although criticized over newpaper's editorial opinion, Peter Limon stated, We no matter what happens, our staff will stand by the paper and continue to do what we feel is right.
