Members Learn Astronomy the According to Mr. Webster, Astronomy is, The scientific study of the universe beyond the earth and that is exactly what took up most of the time of the active and studious Astronomy club. E 3 5y W ay In January, members of this club took pictures of four planets and an astroid all in the same morning, and sent copies to Sky and Tele- scope Magazine. the experiment was quite successful. The fourteen exuberant students were advised by Mr. Schwenn, and hoped to teach students an easy way to learn astronomy and to understand the various facets of the study. To further their knowledge in Anthropology, the club, sponsored by Mr. George, took part in sev- eral field trips. Also they sponsored a dance, a car rally, 3 spaghetti dinner, and a bake sale.
