5;. $9291! it i V Golf Swings for Success San Clemente High School was greatly honored this year by the efforts of the Triton Golf Team, coached by Mr. Beaver and Mr. Stroud. For the first time in the history of the school, the golfers took first place in the Crestview League competi- tion, thus bringing home their first league championship. The coaches are confident that with the return of many of their finest players next year, they will be able to con- tinue this newly acquired tradition. Mike Dowling, Nick Maddocks, and Doug Ralls wer outstanding among the many younger players who contributed substantially to the success of Triton tennis.
