The SCHS Varsity Basketball team, headed by coach John Baker, ended the season with a split record in Crest- view league competition. The Tritons rolled smoothly over E1 Modena, with a score of 78-65 in the first league game of the season. However, the next two games, against Villa Park and Orange, were a dissappointment. Fired up with two losses in a row, the Tritons toppled the Foothill Knights by 14 points, making it the most exciting game of the season for the Tritons on their own home court. The next week, though, the Tritorfs luck Changed, and the Tustin Tillers edged by them by six points. The Red Cagefs were looking for blood as they confidently rolled over Laguna with a score of 81-51 the following week. But, turn about being fair play, Mission Viejo took the Tritons for an uncomfortable 30 point ride. The Tritons opened up the second half of the season with a victory over E1 Modena, but fell by a single point to the Villa Park Vanguards the following week. The Cagers went on in glory to defeat the Tillers, and to total- ly destroy the Artists with a 40 point lead. Domenichini, J. Scott, C. Anderson, FRONT ROW: D. Lombardi, R. Mason, S.
