Leaving the Thursday before Easter Vacation the Club visited many of the important places in Northern California. Stopping off at Hearst Castle, San Francisco, U.C. Santa Cruz, Stanford, and Sacramento the trip proved enjoyable and educational as well.

5 Astronomy Club: Steve Hinkle, Chuck Williams, Ronald Odion, Jim Tullius, Lesile Jordan, Mike Kaluger, Craig Dastrup, Rick Kramer, Sandy Ziegler, Wt HF Astronomy Comes To SC Astronomy was the craze of 1970. Going along with this current fad a new Club under the name of Astronomy was started at S.C.H.S. Interested in the stars and planets members built an observation station. Taking field trips to various observatories the Club members came in contact with people with similar interests. One of the many activities of the Astronomy Club was the counting of meteo- rites. Under the leadership of Mr. Passaretti the Club enjoyed many exciting activities.

Wmlxvil 'l' Humanities Adds Culture Progressive Education was a club started by the Junior Humani- tie,s students of S.C.H.S. Having a booth in the Renaissance Festival, car washes, and bake sales were all money making projects for a planned trip to San Simeon. Not only thinking of themselves but of the school too, the Junior Humanities students designed and constructed mosaics 0n the walls in front of the Little Theatre.
