Under the leadership of Mrs. Stevens the Pep Club sold new booster ribhons and sponsored the penny competition during Homecoming Week. Presi- dent Cathy McDaniel and her club added to the spirit which made 69-70 a year for spirit.

S O 1 New Orleans Soul was for memories, the day you sold for 50d: in the slave auction, a penny drive with the Class of ,72 coming out way ahead, riding your bike to school to show you had spirit, yelling uWe are SC, at the pep rally and meaning it. New Orleans Soul was the Drama Club winning first place in the car parade, the first time you danced to a Dixieland band and found out it was fun, pies for Laguna, Victory for SC. This was Homecom- ing 1969.
