This statement has great significance. We as human beings have great latitude in determining our directions. We are not fully condi- tioned and pre-determined. We can either stand up to the conditions and Challenges that face us each clay or we can give in to them. We can make commitments to life or make none and thus allow fate to determine our outcomes.
