jane spent three years as a day student and her senior year as a resident. Her mem-
bership in the Clee Club, Angel Chorus and Drama Club was fully appreciated
because of her outstanding interest and ability. She was often found practicing her
piano lesson, or in chapel preparing a hymn for the evening services. Top honors
came to jane at the end of her junior year when she achieved the highest academic
average in the high school, and first place in Maryland for outstanding merit in the
French Contest given by the Maryland Chapter of the American Association of
Teachers of French. She was assistant editor of the Ready Record, assistant editor
and then editor of the TORCH, as well as president of the House Council. jane's
future points toward Cornell University and a career in medicine.
