TiE POLY BAND COMES GOMPEHS They say, that most everyone loves a band, whether it's on a football field, celebrating some national event, or some solemn festlval of commemoration All these occasions would not be complete without a band The Poly Band gave 1t's first conce t of the year the concert with the playing A few of the selections they hood from the Coral Symphony Overture, Clarinet Polka and They played Sousas Liberty difficult piece, even for pro of the Star Spangled Banner played were, Hymn of Brother by Beethoven, the Crusade s the Project March by Bennett Bell March, which is a very fessionals Bandmasters consider it an extraordinary march It takestulefficient band to play good marches, and Poly, in my judgement, did very very well Mr O'Keefe is the conductor of the Poly Band, and also the conductor of our own little band here at Gompers by John D Allen GR1 ' TO at Gompers, with about forty-one musicians.
