Command Master hief ASCMQAWQ .P. Heimann ..NVy Master Chief Petty Officer Gregory P. Heimann, a Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician, was born in Fargo, N.D., on 29 December 1948. He graduated from Chief Sealth High School, Seattle, Wash., in june 1967. He enlisted in the Navy on 26 june 1968. Following recruit training at the Recruit Training Center in San Diego, Calif., he was assigned to Naval Sta- tion Midway Island. Subsequent assignements have included: Naval Sta- tion Sanley Point, Republic of the Philippines: Air Anti- Submarine Squadron 33 QVS-331, San Diego, Calif.: Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands QPMFRQ Kauia, Hawaii: Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii: USS TARAWA ILHA ll: Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Depart- ment, Naval Air Station Miramar, Calif.g and Naval Man- agement Systems Support Office Detachment Pacific QNAVMASSO DET PACQ. Master Chief Heimann was assigned to USS SAMUEL GOMPERS QAD 379 in March 1990 as Command Master Chief. He is a graduate of Chaminade University, Hawaii, with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Admin- istration. Master Chief Heimann wears the Navy Commenda- tion Medal, Navy Achievement Medal Qtwo awardsj, Battle Efficiency Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal lifive awardsj, Navy Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Medal, and Sea Service Ribbon Qtwo awardsj. He is married to the former Dianne Marie Webber of Denver, Colo. She is a Navy Chief Aviation Maintenance Administrationman assigned to Patrol Squadron 31 CVP- 315 at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, Mountain View, Calif., as the Maintenance Admin Officer.
