OJT on a camera. 16 OCTOBER 1976, USS SAMUEL GOMPERS AD-37 departs San Diego California for the Western Pacific, first stop Hawaii then on to the far East, with stops in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Then back to Hawaii where the GOMPERS embarked Sea Cadets and Tigers, Tigers being dependents of fellow crew members. With the last big voyage Homeward Bound, last stop 16 April 1977 San Diego California.
