Art instructor presented with Cherokee dedication A pleasing smile, the needed encouragement when you're ready to quit, someone who will stay at school until all hours just to help . . .this characterizes Mrs. Mildred Russum, recipient ol the '75 Cherokee dedication. Even at the last minute, Mrs. Russum can be counted on to come up with art exhibits, signs lor registration, and decorations. She may be the most imposed upon person here at Sam Houston. A teacher since Sam's opening, Mrs. Russum is a devoted sports and academic tan. She is seldom missed at an assembly or a game. A special person in a special school, we, the annual staff, dedicate this Cherokee to her. A f . -: , msg? K nf.
