To the Class of 1987: Your 1987 class year marks a significant anniversary which this yearbook review strikingly complements. With your graduation, Salve Qegina College completes a forty-year cycle of educational progress on our Newport campus. Forty years is a short span in the saga of venerable academic institutions. What is remarkable about Salve is that we have come so far in just four decades. We like to think that a constant challenge to excellence is the special (Salve hallmark. You have now played an integral role in our steady advance. You will share in Salve ' s growing prestige in years to come.
