Sometimes we stumble to classes; sometimes we don ' t. Some of our instructors read our texts to us for fifty minutes, some talk for the allotted time, some encourage us to think. We arrive at some classes because attendance is sure to be taken. We know we can always write letters or daydream. If it ' s really all that bad we say the hell with it and thank god for our C ' s and D ' s — At least it ' s not an F. Some instructors demand a lot of busywork. We may not care for it or see the point but it always gets done — somehow. And there are those instructors who excite us. They are dynamic, showing us paths we may have missed or questions we failed to inves- tigate. They lead us forth and we discover that above all we want to learn. They seem to know that we can teach them also. These in- structors we salute with a sincere thank you. 14
