THE BEST OF TIMES SAPAN 1981-82 AL WA VS HA VE A DREAM Forget about the days when it's been cloudy, but don't forget your hours in the sun . . . forget about the times you've been defeated, but don't forget the victories you've won- Forget about mistakes that you can't change now. but don't forget the lessons that you’ve learned . . . Forget about misfortunes you’ve encountered, but don't forget the times your luck has turned. Forget about the days when you've been lonely. but don't forget the friendly smiles you ve seen ... Forget about the plans that didn’t seem to work out right. but don't forget to always have a dream. The Panthers were leading in several of the games only to have victory slip away in the last quarter. The Panthers hit with the best of them and turned out two all-Conference players in Jamie White and Tim Armentrout. The future looks good for Salisbury as the Junior Varsity team was undefeated. Their record was 5-0-1, including a thrilling come-from behind victory over our rivals Marc eline. R.°.WJ L.toR‘ Scarnmshorn. P. Skidopolulos. J. Baer. R Millas. P. Yung. T. Armentrout. M. Goins. C. The Panthers started the season fast coasting to a 7 and 2 mark before injuries and a mid-season slump reduced the club to the .500 mark. Highlights of the season were a very exciting double overtime win over rival Westran in the season opener and a pair of upsets in district play over Ashland and Fayette, which advanced the Panthers to the finals where they lost to Halls ville to end their season. Other highlights saw the Panthers place third in the Centralia Tournament and fifth in the Keytes- ville Tournament. Led by seniors Wes Fuemmeler, Kevin Wyatt, Jamie White. Glen Kottman, Brett Kessler and Tim Armentrout this edition of Panther Boys Basketball was a very spirited and exciting one. These boys came to play”. 42 Row I L to R, B. Kessler. D. Ginter. R. From a TV play by George Batson and Donn Garmon. The House on the Cliff is rumored to be the last stop of the Civil War Underground Railroad and overlooks one of the Great Lakes. Years ago. an excursion boat sank in a storm and it's said the lake is haunted. The house’s occupants include a young, lovely heiress. Ellen Clayton, currently confined to a wheelchairf her cooly beautiful stepmother, and an austere housekeeper. Then Nurse Pepper arrives, a cheerful, curious person desirous of putting things in order. And there's substitute doctor Corey Phillips who believes Ellen can walk again-and soon. It all begins with a sudden, violent murder and ends with a chilling, surprising climax. 86 UpUPPiHPwpp y w u u uuu imD©DM(® P¥imDSDM(i ®Wi( TO Md PWi ¥D©DM@ PWi T0©0[M [D) TD©0M(i W[i ¥0©Q (i [D)W[i ¥D©DM imDSDM PWimQSOKKi Wim DM(i [D)W[l ¥D©DM(i ®W[|[ ¥D©DM(i [D ¥OSO (i PW[l[ ¥DSDM(i®WI ¥DSDD l ®Wi ¥D©D[M(i ©WI[ ¥DSOM PWi[ D0©0M(l P i ¥0©0M(§ W[l ¥0©0M(l ))Wi ¥D DM(i ®Wi ¥D©D (g ®Wi ¥D M(i ®¥[l ¥D©DM® [D)W[i ¥D©DM(i ® ¥DSDMd ®W[l ¥D©DM PWi ¥D©DM(( Wil ¥D©D[M] ®WI ¥D©D[M(i E)Wi I ¥DSOM(i ®Wi ¥D©DM(i [D)Wi ¥QtO[f MP¥I ¥DtOKl(i ® II ¥D®DM PWII ¥SDMt ®Wi ¥D©DM(i ®W[l ¥D©QM(i 5)WIl ¥0©0[M(i [D) [l[ ¥DS0[ (i ®Wi ¥[ MdMWiWDSDM ADVERTISING ?¥DSDM( ®Wi ¥D©DM(i ®WI ¥DSDM( Wi(¥FQSOM(l W[i™M(l [D)Wi IOM(l W[l[m©OM(l E)W[l ¥0©OM(lM I ¥0S0M(M®W[1CW0©0[M(1 W[1 ¥0©0[] i ®Wll ¥DSDM(i ©W[i ¥l©DM(i E)Wll rO©OM(M®Wi ¥D©OM M®WimTO©OMa 3)W[l ¥D©Q[Nl(i ®W[i[ ¥D D[M(i ®W[i ¥[ — —._________________________ SEARS Sears Authorized Merchants Salisbury, Mo.
