 Momecomincf Homecoming Week’s activities were kicked off with Monday dedicated as Hat and Sock Day. Tuesday followed with Graffiti Shirt Day. and that evening the Powder Puff Football Game was played. The Junior and Senior girls downed the Freshmen and Sophomore girls with a score of 27-0. Jim Fitzgerald was crowned Ugly Duckling King at half-time by popular vote. Wednesday was proclaimed Hush Button Day. A prize was given to the boy that received the most buttons from girls who talked to them. Thursday was Hobo Day. Everybody let himself go in all k’nds of get up. The bonfire and pep rally was held that evening. A coyote was burned and the victory spirit rose for the big game the next evening. Friday, everybody wore purple and gold to honor our school colors. That evening was the football game. Even though we didn’t win, it was a great game. The final event for the week was the dance after the game which was a perfect end to a memorable week. 18
