Last Will and Testament We, the members of the Senior class ot 1956 of Salisbury High School, knowing ourselves to be of sound minds, highly intelligent, and over-endowed with the finest of qualities, do hereby bequeath our dearest properties to our less fortunate underclassmen. We establish and declare the following to be our last will and testament, subject to no changes, wise or unwise. Mel Kyes wills to Dickie Fry, his height and his ability to make wisecracks. To Jo Ann Hayward, Lou Anna Elmore wills her giggles and her male admirers. Janet Carter leaves her dark complexion, eyes, and a bottle of hair dye to Donna Bills. Ivan Gesling wills his good conduct in school to James Kelly, who should use it in band. Wayne Billue wills the lasting friendship that he and Sam Green have had to Nayna Knowles and Marjorie McCubbins. Joyce Phillips wills her ability not to gab to Virginia Dennis. Louie Helmich wills his way with the freshman girls to Carl Rasmussen. W.L. Peart leaves his quick way of getting around and his short stature to Mr. Amelon. To Marjorie Thompson, Rowena Sanders leaves her long hair and smiles. Elwood Winn was left by Ronnie Fitzpatrick, his carefree manner of loafing around. Cookie Rasmussen was left by Kay Cadmus, her ability to play the piano, organ, viola, clarinet, and to sing. (Which isn’t much.) Milton Jordan wills his quiet manner to Larry Laske. James Wolfe leaves his pleasant disposition to Kathryn Wilkey. Donna Kothe was left by Jean Winkelmeyer, her way with the boys. To Stacy Scott, Jerry Hayward wills his many ways of getting in trouble. Nola Todd leaves her undecided love life to Gayle George. Charles Hofmann wills his way to make people mad at him to Fuzzy Scheiderer. To Betty Cruse, Marilyn Wolter leaves her figure and nice manners. Donald Garner wills his fast get-a-ways at noon and after school to Dickie Steging. Anita Speiser was left by Shirley Lingo, her ability to be late to school. Janice Bartholomew wills her ability to get a diamond ring before school is out to Marjorie Renne. Robert Moore wills his shyness to Jerry Eagan. To Donald Freeman, Sammie Green wills his ability to wait until the last minute to get his bookkeeping. 8 Laura Ann Ratliff regretfully leaves to Irvin Maddox and James Albert Kelly, her tranquill friendship with Nola.
